Today’s cookie was brought to you by inspired by, one of my husbands favorite Starbucks drinks, the peppermint mocha.

To help bring out the peppermint flavor in the Biscotti, I decided to add just a few chopped Hershey’s Candy Cane Kisses.

Brownie Scones

Boy do I have a great recipe to share with you today. This recipe is adapted from Unplugged Baking by Nicole Rees.

As I was flipping through the pages of Baking Unplugged I came upon this specific recipe – Brownie Scones, as you probably guessed… the flipping immediately stopped and the reading began!

The first eight words on that page were all I needed to read before I started pulling ingredients out of the pantry.

Espresso Hazelnut Swirl Cheesecake

Nothing wrong with being on a little “Hazelnut” kick now, is there? What’s not to love about hazelnuts? I mean, ‘cmon one word says it all… Nutella!

Actually, the fact of the matter is that I happened to have a few toasted hazelnuts left over from the Gianduia Gelato I made yesterday that I wanted to put to use.

I know I shouldn’t have to justify myself, I’m just throwing that out there.
