I am sharing this exquisite cocktail with you today thanks to my dearest friend Cindy AKA the best hostess ever!
She invited us over for dinner a week or two ago and had a pitcher of it ready to go, seriously no more than a minute had passed since we arrived at her house and we were holding a glass of this very refreshing peach mint julep in our hands. Love her!
I liked it so much, I asked her for the recipe to share with you.
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 can peach nectar
- 1 can ginger ale
- ¼ cup rosemary brown sugar simple syrup
- juice of 1 lime
- handful of bruised min
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- In a small pitcher stir together all ingredients. Pour into glasses filled with ice and bruised mint. Garnish with a wedge of peach.
- In a small saucepan combine water, sugar and rosemary. Bring to a boil until sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes. Chill simple syrup before using.
