As soon as I took a look at this weekends forecast an immediate feeling of glumness came over me, and to those around me the manifestation of such feeling is quite apparent.
I know California’s drought is of historic proportions; that we need rain, and we need it bad. But, I just can’t seem to get a single thing done without any sunshine. I become, if you will, tired, run-down, listless.
Do we see where this is going? Good…
Well the good news is, to help combat this melancholy feeling I whipped up some liquid sunshine. Which happens to, get this—taste just like candy!
So, if you are in the same boat I am. Let’s try it out this weekend, and see if it helps us turn into happy peppy people.
- 3 ounces vanilla vodka
- 1 ounce white creme de cacao
- ½ ounce praline liqueur
- chocolate and caramel sauce for drizzling, optional
- Drizzle a chilled martini glass with chocolate and/or caramel sauce if desired, return glass to freezer while you prepare the cocktail.
- To a shaker with ice add vodka, creme de cacao and praline liqueur. Shake well, strain and pour into prepared glass.
