Wednesday evening when I arrived from work I was blown away. The house had been completely transformed. It went from displaying every single piece of football prop/49er memorabilia, to full-blown Valentine’s Day decor. I mean, there were red candles, heart lights framing the dining room mirror, our dining room table was covered with our designated Valentine’s Day table cloth; a rich red tablecloth with a heart shaped see-through border. Candy dishes were graciously filled with new seasonal hershey’s kisses. Basically I walked into a house where apparently gentle wave of love had graciously passed through. Like I said… I was blown away.
So I thought… what better way to repay such graciousness then with an equally graceful and delicate cocktail inspired by a traditional Valentine’s Day treat? A chocolate dipped Strawberry.

- 3 ounces chocolate vodka
- 2 ounces heavy cream
- 2 ounces dark creme de cacao
- 1 ounce strawberry syrup
- 2 ounces chocolate syrup
- Pour 1 ounce of chocolate syrup into each of the martini glasses.
- Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled half-way with ice. Shake well, strain and carefully pour into the prepared martini glass.
- Garnish each martini glass with a slice of strawberry.

LOOOVE!
And, how cool to walk in and have your house decorated!!! I hope that happens to me today!
Fingers crossed for you! xo
Who knew Jose was such a romantic???
Right?
Oh my gosh, this just sounds heavenly! What a perfect Valentine cocktail. I think I need to show this recipe to my husband (he’s the bartender in the family). This is the perfect marriage of a drink and a dessert.
Enjoy! xo
