Pear Almond Crisp Martini

You know how the story goes… It starts off with a quick trip to BevMo, but when you arrive you begin walking up and down the isles “exploring”. 10-15 minutes later you come across a very tall and thin looking bottle of Pear liqueur with a charming label written in French. You are sure this would make a wonderful fall cocktail and you then begin to wonder how it never made it into your basket before. You then carefully place the bottle in your basket and make your way over to the register feeling really excited about the next cocktail you’ll be making.

Pear Almond Crisp Martini

Total time

Serves: 2

Ingredients
  • 4 ounces pear liqueur
  • 1.5 ounces vanilla vodka
  • .5 ounce amaretto
  • 2 ounces half and half
  • 1 teaspoon honey liqueur

Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled half-way with ice. Shake for 30-40 seconds and pour into to small martini glasses rimmed with cinnamon-nutmeg sugar.

Notes
For the Cinnamon-Nutmeg Sugar rimmer: Combine 1 tablespoon of dark brown sugar, a pinch of cinnamon, and a pinch of freshly grated nutmeg into a shallow bowl.

Thanks Angela. And while we are on the topic of cocktails. If I may suggest, one other for you to try, if you are fond of pumpkin, you’ll definitely need to make yourself a pumpkin cake martini. Seriously, my husband is hooked on them. ;)
