If this picture doesn’t instantly make you drool…
a) You have an aversion to pastries drizzled with creamy icing.
b) Almonds are a cringe-inducing ingredient for you.
c) I’m not a very good food photographer.
d) That particular pastry is just a little too sweet for your taste buds.
Now, let me back up a little.
I was very excited when Panera first asked me if I would be interested in blogging about them, because prior to them even contacting me, it was already one of the places my family and I have enjoyed visiting for a while now.
But to be honest with you I didn’t really know how dedicated they were to quality and how focused they are on using the freshest local ingredients available.
A couple of other things that totally surprised me is that their Head Baker happens to be the former Associate Dean of Baking and Pastry Arts at the Culinary Institute of America (that helps explain their amazing bread). And, that their Head Chef is also a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America. Who knew?

Where’s the butter?
If you’d like to learn more about Panera’s commitment to freshness and quality here’s a quick video for you to watch or visit their web site at Panerabread.com.
To stay current on special offers you can follow Panera on Twitter: @PaneraBread or become a Panera Bread Fan on Facebook.
Remember regardless of my compensation from Panera to blog for them, you know I would never promote or endorse something I didn’t truly love.

Don’t worry, I am drooling!
Yay!
What a great pasty….looks so very yummy. There are people not lured in by treat drizzled with icing? I’m not believing it.
Yeah, that’s definitely drool. That’s cool about their chefs. It figures why their food is good!
Photo makes my mouth water! I love Panera Bread’s pastries also! In addition, I love to have lunch there – their menu is awesome, and their coffee is really good! Want to meet me for lunch…I think we’re on different coasts – so might have to meet thru the social media cyberspace!
Thanks Bonnie! Social media/cyberspace works for me, anytime!
The picture definitely is drool worthy!!! Have to say love our local Panera Bread – great option for those nights when you have multiple games and want something nourishing!!
I love Panera but that one pastry would be a little too sweet for my tastebuds. I do love their bread though.
Wow that’s looks so yummy
I can’t believe I’ve just drooled!
You take wonderful pictures that had me drooling from the beginning. I would definitely be a regular at Panera if there was one here in Honolulu. Come on Panera, open up here – what’s not to love about Hawaii? Great weather, check. Friendly people who love to eat out, check. Lots of tourists who like to eat out, check. Sorry, I am not trying to hijack your thread but I figured someone from Panera might drop by and see my pathetic begging
Congrats on this opportunity to write and be asked about blogging for
Panera!!!! thats a wonderful compliment to you as always your writing, pictures and ability to create awesome desserts is very well recieved in the industry. Congrats and great going to your continued success!
I could eat bread all day….with stinky cheese…and wine. OK that’s it though!
I’m a big fan of Panera. Fresh food, and pretty healthy as long as you stay away from those (to die for) shortbread cookies (which sometimes I can’t). Congrats on getting the gig with them!
Pastries ALWAYS make me drool, even though I can’t eat them due to a gluten allergy. Actually, maybe that’s why they make me drool so much.
I’m never going to be able to pass by a Panera again!
It may be a good thing that we don’t have a Paera here. Your pictures are great.
If that picture doesn’t instantly make someone drool… means he/she is blind.
I promise I drooled when I saw that picture…. delicious!
….and Congrats!!!
