What better way to celebrate Almond Day
than with a recap of a few of my favorite Macarons:

Chocolate Caramel Macarons
Chocolate Macarons shells sandwiched between a luscious Milk Chocolate ganache and a creamy caramel made with a touch of Fleur De Sel.

Pistachio² + White Chocolate Macarons
Pistachio Macarons Shells sandwiched between a White Chocolate buttercream speckled with finely ground pistachio bits.

Banana Cream Pie French Macarons
Once you take a bite out of these macarons you are forced to make a double take just to make sure you didn’t just take a bite out of a creamy Banana Cream Pie, they taste just like it! I made these for last years Food Blogger Bake Sale.

S'mores inspired French Macarons
A little more sophisticated than a traditional S’more but pack with all those amazing flavors that take you back to those nostalgic campground days. These were part of last year’s Food Blogger Bake Sale too.

Irish Coffee inspired Macarons
Inspired by a visit to the Buena Vista Cafe in San Francisco… need I say more?

Orange-Lime Margarita Macarons
If you are looking for a fresh change of scenery but haven’t got the resources to make it happen these will do the trick, you will feel like you’ve been immediately transported to an amazing Mexican beach after one bite.
Happy Almond Day!
I hope you enjoyed my French Macaron recap!

I really want to try your Irish Coffee Macarons. They look so good.
I didn’t realize it was “Almond Day” yesterday. Lucky for me, I used some almonds for the truffles I made.
Fun Fact: almonds are good for the heart!
Never heard of almond day but I see you represented it very well. Beautiful pictures as always.
hi Josie
I was trying to pick a favorite from all those macaroons, but I just can’t decide, each one looks too good to pas up. please just send an assorted box…..sigh

i could’ve sworn i posted this somewhere but maybe i was dreaming – do you know if the eggwhites [from the carton] would work??? I hate wasting the yolks b/c i never end up using them!!
You did… under the Orange-Lime Margarita Macaron post.
Nope egg whites from the carton won’t work… I’ve tried, I think it’s because they’ve been pasteurized. You can always make ice cream, or creme brulee.
What a phenomenal post! I am determined to make macarons – yours are truly inspiring!
