Chocolate Razzmatazz Martini

I thought it would be fun to kick-off the first Friday of the year with a dreamy dessert cocktail.

Chocolate Razzmatazz Martini

Now, this is not the cocktail you would want to serve your friends who are planning to meet at your place before heading out to go grab a bite of sushi on a Friday night per se.

This is however, a cocktail you would want to offer them once your friends decide it would be a great idea to return to your place to hang out and they are too full for a “formal” dessert.

Then, upon serving said cocktail you proceed to explain the Daydreamer Dessert Mantra… “Always save room for dessert”. Which I’m sure you are all very familiar with. ;)

CHEERS!

Chocolate Razzmatazz Martini

serves 2

4 ounces Chocovine
3 ounces milk
2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce framboise liqueur
1/2 ounce tawny port
fresh raspberries for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add chocovine, milk, vodka, framboise liqueur and tawny port. Shake for 20 seconds strain and serve into a martini glass.

Garnish with a couple of fresh raspberries.

What’s your favorite dessert cocktail?

Looks so good I had to ReTweet your post. Don’t have everything to make it this weekend but may save it for Valentine’s Day.

This sounds so good! Beautiful photo too! I’d have to say my favorite dessert cocktail has to be a Frozen Mudslide.

Dessert martinis are the best solution to a full tummy…especially because no matter how full my tummy gets, I always need a bit of sweet to end my day!! Great mix!
