Nutty Marbled Banana Bread

Yes… yes… I know. My banana bread slices look a little short. I can explain…. You see, it’s like this.

I faced a major dilemma earlier this week. I was in possession of only two ripe bananas and I wanted to make two loaves of this yummy banana bread.

So, what’s a girl to do?

Over the hills and through the woods...

It’s off to work we go…

Oh, but before we go, I just wanted to let you know that I’m so thankful for all your votes and awesome comments. It because of them I’m able to keep going, love ya!

Like I said, because of *you* I find myself writing this 6th post in the Project Food Blog challenge.

At first I couldn’t decide in what direction to take this post. Then, I had an aha! moment. I decided I wanted you to get to know me a little better, and that’s why I’m taking you to work. Don’t worry I won’t make you code… unless you want too? 😉

I drive above Lake Elsinore through Cleveland National Forest over Ortega Hwy (This road has more curves than Marilyn Monroe!), a two lane road which then drops me off in San Juan Capistrano. After a quick ride on Interstate 5 and toll road 73 we arrive in beautiful Aliso Viejo, CA.

Ghirardelli Luxe Milk Chocolate Samples

It turns out, I know myself pretty darn well. Go figure… I’ve only known myself for thirty somewhat years. Anyway my guess was spot on, the hazelnut was my absolute favorite followed by the milk chocolate and almond.

I’m not too proud to admit I decided to do my chocolate tasting this past Sunday morning while everyone else was sleeping. Actually, I was more like bullied into it by the black up of coffee I was having.

Well, thanks to my weakness for chocolate and those three bites, I was inspired guilted into sharing some chocolate joy with the boys by making them a special breakfast treat.
