Why the giveaway? Well, tomorrow is my birthday and I want some attention… did I ever tell you I am an only child? I was so spoiled growing up it was sickening.
Fortunately, or unfortunately that all ended fairly quickly when my parents sent me to school in Mexico… more about that later.

I do not have a specific dessert to have for my bday but if I am in Sicily with my family that would definitely be a slice of Cassata cake yum!!!

The best was the birthday gateau from my boyfriend last year made from chestnut mousse and rose hip cream, here. but I'm looking forward my next birthday cake… have a nice day.
Happy belated birthday DayDreamer! My favourite cake and a must be for my birthday is "Saramisu". It is actually one of my inventions…my birthday is in July, when in Italy it's very hot and you are craving for a fresh cake but at the same time you don't dare turning on the oven. This cake is a mix of a Tiramisu with a Cheesecake. It's wonderful and…well there is no official recipe so you will have to wait for me to post it on my blog in July or come and visit me and I'll make it for you
